+# How to Join
+Come visit the space! Get to know some folks, and find a board member. After a couple visits once folks know you better, ask a board member to start the onboarding process.
+. Contact any board member and ask for a dma account invitation. Provide the username you wish to use.
+. Once the board member sends you an invite link, fill it out and let them know. Also provide the Member fee tier you want your account to be set at. A table of the available tiers is available further below in https://wiki.dma.space/governance/policies/member-policy#member_pricing.
+. The board member can then approve your membership. Once they have done so, log in to the https://dma.space website and go to the 'Billing' section on the left. There you can set up your specific contribution and payment details through Stripe.
+. This part is important so don't forget! You must visit the space and sign a liability waiver. Without a waiver, we will have to reject your membership!
+. Now that you are a member, familiarize yourself with the wiki and the space itself. Find a project that looks interesting and jump in, or bring your own to work on yourself or with others. Have fun, and consider if you can do something to help further our non-profit's mission!
