Parking
Our recommendation is to avoid parking near the space if you can.
We are transit-accessible, and connections can be made from free parking at Sound Transit stations.
Load and Unload
If you need to load or unload something to/from your vehicle, there are load/unload zoned spaces (yellow curb) on the street in front of the Building Entrance.
Do not park or stop in front of the SPD precinct or its driveways.
You may also use the center lane for loading/unloading only.
Free parking
Night parking, 8pm-8am
Parking on the block where our Building is located, is free all nights after 8pm, until 8am
Sundays
Parking is free on Sundays from Saturday at 8pm until the following Monday at 8am.
Holidays
Parking is free from 8pm on the night prior to a major holiday, until 8am the morning following.
If the date falls on a Sunday, the Monday that follows is a free parking day.
Major holidays are:1)
(TODO: A table would've gone here with a list of the holiday parking days. Refer to the Seattle website linked in the footnotes, for now.)
Transit.
As mentioned earlier, several transit centers in and around Seattle provide direct connections to the Cal Anderson Park Sound Transit Link 1-Line station, and have free park-and-ride facilities. Parking at these locations is usually limited to 24 hours.
Paid parking
Seattle municipal parking uses the PayByPhone app 2), available on iOS, Android, Windows Phone and the web. Some private lots may require different parking apps/services; as far as we are aware, none are nearby the Space so it is moot and out of scope.
