Becoming a Member

Steps

  1. Signing a Waiver.
    1. Sign a waiver. You may find a waiver on a music stand next to the Space Door.
    2. Validate your waiver with a board member. Please make sure they acknowledge the waiver.
    3. Drop the waiver off in the black box, also next to the Space Door.
  2. Beginning the Subscription
    1. Create an account if you don't already have one. Talk to an existing member or a board member, and they'll be able to give you a link to create an account. See Creating an Invite Link.
    2. Ask a board member to onboard your account for membership. To speed up the process, please familiarize yourself with the Member Pricing table. The board member will prompt you this question.
    3. Begin payment at /portal/billing. You'll only be able to begin payment if the board member has properly onboarded you onto the role.
  3. Get a Building Access Code
    1. Contact @null, who is the point of contact for all door code needs. THIS IS BOUND TO CHANGE ONCE DOOR AUTOMATION IS SET UP.

Checklist

Once you're a member, these things should be true:

  • You're paying, via the Member Portal and Stripe, a monthly membership price.
  • You have a ButterflyMX code to access the building in your email.
  • Your /portal/people page includes dma-members under [Groups].
