 # Onboarding Playbook
+## Becoming a Member
+### Steps
+. Signing a Waiver.
+. **Sign a waiver.** You may find a waiver on a music stand next to the Space Door.
+. **Validate your waiver with a board member.** Please make sure they acknowledge the waiver.
+. **Drop the waiver off** in the black box, also next to the Space Door.
+. Beginning the Subscription
+. **Create an account** if you don't already have one. Talk to an existing member or a board member, and they'll be able to give you a link to create an account. See [Creating an Invite Link](#creating-an-invite-link).
+. **Ask a board member** to onboard your account for membership. To speed up the process, please familiarize yourself with the [Member Pricing](https://wiki.dma.space/governance/policies/member-policy#member_pricing) table. The board member will prompt you this question.
+. **Begin payment** at [/portal/billing](https://portal.dma.space/portal/billing). You'll only be able to begin payment if the board member has properly onboarded you onto the role.
+. Get a Building Access Code
+. **Contact @null**, who is the point of contact for all door code needs. THIS IS BOUND TO CHANGE ONCE DOOR AUTOMATION IS SET UP.

+Once you're a member, these things should be true:
+- You're paying, via the Member Portal and Stripe, a monthly membership price.
+- You have a ButterflyMX code to access the building in your email.
+- Your [/portal/people](https://portal.dma.space/portal/people) page includes `dma-members` under `[Groups]`.
