We currently have Signal and Zulip.

Zulip is dma.space's primary chatspace. You may access it at chat.dma.space.

To access Zulip, you'll need a Zulip account. If you are a member or have an internal dma.space account, then a Zulip account will automatically be created on our system. Otherwise, you'll need a guest sign up link in order to chat here.

We don't gatekeep our chat much. If you've been to the space before (or are planning to), or know any of us, feel free to ask for an invite, and we'll add you in.

Note: Signal will be deprecated eventually.

Signal may be deprecated in the future as we transition to Zulip. There is no set date for this, and some Signal channels may persist for operational reasons.

On Signal, there are a number of channels:

• dma.space/projects
  • General project chat and DMA's main channel.
• dma.space/facilities
  • Discuss primarily space facilities and fixes.
• dma.space/radio
  • the unofficial official DMA radio club, chat about ham radio & mesh/unlicensed radio stuff.
• dma.space/setup-crew
  • Temporary channel for the group involved in setting up the space.
